Cantarella et al. evaluate adding nanofat to traditional fat grafting for treatment of velar scarring in velopharyngeal incompetence, reporting that nanofat’s regenerative properties may improve velar scar elasticity and pliability and suggesting it as a promising adjunct to enhance outcomes in mild VPI.
