Autologous Adipose Tissue Stromal Vascular Fraction Cells Applied in Patients with Osteoarthritis

Jaroslav Michalek and colleagues published a multi-center case control study of 1,114 patients with knee and hip OA treated with adipose-derived stem cells. At 12 months after treatment there was a 75% improvement in 63% of patients and at least a 50% score improvement in 91% of patients.

The paper was published in Cell Transplantation.
